After the covid outbreak, Xiaomi held its first physical launch event, and the company had a lot to show and demonstrate. The Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 5, and Xiaomi Smart TV 5A will be unveiled by the company. In India, the Xiaomi Pad 5 has introduced Xiaomi to a new product category.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Specifications, Features
The Xiaomi Pad 5 has a 10.95-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a DCI-P3 color gamut of over 1 billion colors. The display has a resolution of 2K (2560x1600). The display has a pixel density of 275 pixels per inch. The brightness reaches a maximum of 650 nits. In addition, the panel has a 120Hz refresh rate.
Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio are also present on the tab. Xiaomi claims that the 16:10 aspect ratio will allow for a smooth transition from 16:9 content.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 860 processor powers the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet. The Snapdragon processor, according to Xiaomi, will deliver flagship-level performance. They've claimed that the tablet will be able to handle heavy-duty games like BGMI when it comes to gaming.
The tablet has a battery capacity of 8,720mAh. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device also supports UFS 3.1 storage. A 22.5W fast charger is included with the Xiaomi Pad 5. The tablet, on the other hand, can enable fast-charging up to 33W.

The new MIUI for Pad has also been launched by Xiaomi. Along with the device, Xiaomi is launching a new operating system in India. A few essential apps have been redesigned for the tablet display by the company. An App dock will be available in the OS version to enable shortcuts to apps. Split-screen multitasking is also enabled on the Xiaomi Pad 5.
Xiaomi Smart Pen, Keyboard
With the Pad 5, Xiaomi also unveiled the Xiaomi Smart Pen. It weighs 12.2 grams. Xiaomi claims that a single minute of charging will give 20 minutes of use. The pen can be magnetically charged when docked on the Xiaomi Pad 5. The tablet also has a precision tip. It has 4096 levels of sensitivity as well as precision tip support. Active palm rejection is also included on the table to help in the use of the Xiaomi Smart Pen. To go with the tablet Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Pad Keyboard.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Price, Availability, Offers
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is available in two storage capacities: 128 GB and 256 GB. The Pad 5 has been introduced at prices of Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999. The introductory price will be valid till May 7. After this period the prices of the 128GB will go up to Rs 26,999 for the 128GB variant and Rs 28,999 for the 256GB variant.
The new Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet will go on sale for the first time on May 3 at 12 p.m. It will be sold on mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon.in, and other retail locations.
